Marketing on a skyscraper scale
When we were approached with the opportunity to create a DOOH billboard for Disney’s Mufasa in cities across the country, there were plenty of ideas thrown around for what it should feature.
We initially landed on a simple copy line of TWO BROTHERS, ONE DESTINY, but when the client came back asking for something bolder, we jumped at the chance.
I pitched several ideas, including one focusing on the franchises most iconic characters, Timon and Pumbaa, who would share in-character banter through copy that would change depending the location the billboard was featured.
Ultimately, we opted for an evergreen concept focusing on the iconic vista of Pride Rock. But the creative ideation paid off nonetheless, landing us a Global Entertainment Award for Best Motion Poster.
