Marketing on a skyscraper scale
When we were approached with the opportunity to create a DOOH billboard for Disney’s Mufasa in cities across the country, there were plenty of ideas thrown around for what it should feature.
We initially landed on a simple copy line of TWO BROTHERS, ONE DESTINY, but when the client came back asking for something bolder, we jumped at the chance.
I ideated around the concept of the franchises most iconic characters, Timon and Pumbaa, who would share in-character banter through copy that would change depending the location the billboard was featured.
Ultimately, time and budgetary constraints led us to create a more evergreen concept focusing on the iconic vista of Pride Rock. But the creative ideation paid off nonetheless, landing us a Global Entertainment Award for Best Motion Poster.
